Start here if comfort is the whole question, because Ram forced everyone else to raise their game. The 1500's coil-spring rear — air suspension if you option it — was a bet that truck buyers would pay for ride quality, and the bet paid. A Limited or Longhorn cabin holds its own against luxury sedans costing more, and the big-screen arms race started on a Ram dashboard.
On my lot, the spread inside Ram's own lineup is the thing to watch: a Big Horn with the Level 2 equipment group carries a surprising share of the Limited's comfort list for meaningfully less money. Check for ventilated seats and the Harman Kardon audio by name — those two move my Comfort Score more than the badge does.
Walk past if your comfort budget has to share the sticker with serious towing — the plushest 1500s aren't the strongest pullers, and the HD comfort trims that do both charge for both. My Towing board carries that half of the conversation.

A base work truck scores low here because it was built for a different job, and that's fine. Every truck has a purpose. This score tells you whether that purpose includes your commute.
